Hardwood floors provide warmth and beauty to your home. There are many other benefits of hardwood floors as well, such as the value they add to your home, easy care and cleaning, great style coupled with durability and as always, they’re natural and safe for the environment.
Three Installation Methods most commonly used
1.Floated
laminates or engineered
2.Glued
laminates or engineered
3.Nailed/Stapled

Step 1:
Room with only a subfloor
Step 2:
15 lb felt paper is used to cover subfloor. This will act as a moisture bearer.
Step 3:
Laying out our references lines. Note: Hardwood Floors are laid perpendicularity to floor joints.
Step 4:
The location of the first board was carefully determined so it would be perfectly parallel to the reference line made earlier.

Common staple gun for installing floor
Step 7:
There is a sequence that is repeated for each plank. It started with placing the tongue end of the board into the grooved end of the previous piece.
Step 8:
Stapling process begins and continues until room is complete.
